HOME WATER FILTERS

Water is a life-sustaining fluid, but if you’re drinking yours straight out of the tap, it might contain more than just H2O. Based on the Environmental Working Group (EWG)’s comprehensive Tap Water Database, which compiles results from water utility testing across the world the water in some communities can contain potentially dangerous chemical

It’s traveled through miles of pipeline, picking up contaminants and runoff along the way. It’s also probably been disinfected with chemicals that can leave potentially carcinogenic byproducts behind.

According to the EWG’s investigation, roughly 85% of the Australian population were drinking tap water that contained over 300 contaminants—more than half of which were not regulated by the EPA

Omnipure Home Water Filters are by far the best home water filters you find anywhere. they supersede all others.

WE STOCK ALL BRANDS OF FILTER CARTRIDGES

Omnipure Home water filters remove all types of chemicals including Chlorine, heavy metals, fluoride bacteria and parasites from drinking water.
CHLORINE
The use of chlorine for water treatment to reduce the risk of infectious disease may account for a substantial portion of the cancer risk associated with drinking water. The by-products of chlorination are associated with increased risk of bladder and rectal cancer, accounting for hundreds of thousands of cases of bladder cancer and rectal cancer per year in the world.

The problems with chlorine stem from the very reason it’s so useful – it’s ability to kill bacteria. When chlorine is introduced into water, it kills pathogenic bacteria. But when it’s introduced into the human body, it destroys our beneficial gut bacteria, where an estimated 70% of our immune system operates.

Recent research increasingly points us towards the great importance of healthy and flourishing gut bacteria. Scientists have found a connection between a lack of these valuable microbes in our digestive system and the presence of a wide range of diseases — including obesity, irritable bowel syndrome, type 2 diabetes, colorectal cancer, and certain autoimmune diseases, such as diabetes and asthma, and even autism.

FLUORIDE: At present, 97% of the western European population drinks non-fluoridated water. This includes: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, and approximately 90% of both the United Kingdom and Spain.
Tooth decay of children in these nations is equal to those who drank fluoridated water.
64 STUDIES HAVE LINKED FLUORIDE WITH REDUCED IQ IN CHILDREN. OTHER STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT FLUORIDATED WATER REDUCES THE IMMUNE RESPONSE

The Water Quality Association (WQA), is the trade organization for the water quality improvement industry. It is a non-profit, international organization that provides educational and technical assistance and standardized industry testing for water treatment products. WQA has developed industry standards, and it tests products for the following:

    Product Performance
    Equipment Capacity
    Simulation Testing

The NSF mark is your assurance that the product has been tested by one of the most respected independent certification organisations in existence today. It is valued by consumers, manufacturers, retailers and regulatory agencies worldwide.

    Stage 1 – Prefilter
The first filtration stage, the prefilter (Part No: sediment 9309A, high capacity
sediment 9461A), prepares the water for the reverse osmosis process.
The five-micron filter captures sediment and small particulate matter, protecting the reverse
osmosis membrane and enhancing its performance.

Stage 2 – Carbon Filter removing Chlorine.

Stage 3 – Reverse Osmosis Membrane
After prefiltration, the water travels to the reverse osmosis membrane
cartridge where the primary cleaning is performed. Here, water is forced
through a semipermeable membrane under pressure, many or most minerals,
chemicals or objectionable matter that might have been in your water are
    flushed down the drain.

    Stage 4 – Storage Tank
After the water is processed, it is stored in a tank until needed. The
storage tank turnover feature keeps the water from becoming stale.

    Stage 5 – Postfilter Polisher
After leaving the storage tank, the water travels to the postfilter Containing activated carbon, the postfilter gives a final polish to your
water, further reducing unpleasant tastes and odours.

The final protection stage is a custom, decorator, lead-free tap, which is
mounted on your sink. With this tap, you can be sure that lead won’t be added
    into your drinking water.
    Demand Operation Means Added Efficiency
Omnipure Water Filters are non-electric and demand-operated, which
means they operate according to your usage. With demand-operation,
Omnipure Water Filters produce high quality drinking water, while they
    maximize water efficiency and performance.

    Automatic System Shutdown Conserves Water
When the storage tank is full, your Drinking Water System shuts down.
It will begin making water again when the storage tank has been partially
emptied. A storage tank turnover feature ensures fresher, better-tasting water
and prevents unnecessary continuous water production. Unlike other systems,
processed water is not constantly sent to drain.
